massage

Sobada is a deeply restorative form of abdominal and pelvic massage rooted in traditional Mayan healing. Each session begins with a grounding check-in and assessment of your physical, emotional, and reproductive health. Warm oils and rhythmic, nurturing strokes are then used to soften tension, release stagnation, and support alignment of the uterus and surrounding organs. Sobada can be profoundly supportive for those experiencing menstrual discomfort, fertility challenges, and physical strain in pregnancy. It’s equally nurturing during the postpartum period, helping the body to return to balance and re-integrate after birth. In April 2026, I travelled to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, with Sarah Smits, to learn from traditional Mayan midwives and lineage holders, to integrate sobada therapy into my practice.

$120.00 for a one-hour session. No Medicare rebate available. I offer gift cards in my online retail store, should you wish to give the gift of sobada massage to a loved one.

rebozo

Rebozo therapy is a holistic practice originating from Mexico, using a woven rebozo shawl for gentle rocking, lifting, and sifting movements. You can read more about the cultural significance of the rebozo here. In pregnancy, it can ease discomfort and encourage optimal fetal positioning. In postpartum, it supports structural alignment, relaxation and a sense of being nurtured. In April 2026, I travelled to Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, with Sarah Smits, to learn from traditional Mayan midwives and lineage holders, to integrate rebozo therapy into my practice.
