closing the bones
A traditional postpartum ritual involving gentle massage and wrapping of the pelvis and body with rebozo shawls. It provides a sense of containment, grounding, and healing after the intensity of birth, supporting emotional and physical recovery. I have been trained by traditional midwife (Partera) and lineage holder, Daniela Salinas, to perform Closing the Bones ceremony.
