pregnancy care
pregnancy confirmation (5–10 weeks)
A supportive appointment designed for early pregnancy. Together, we’ll review your medical history, I will provide education on available models of care, and help you choose a provider that fits your needs. I will collect blood samples for any tests you require (including pregnancy confirmation) and provide an ultrasound referral. I will discuss nutrition and lifestyle, and answer questions about common early pregnancy changes.
This service is fully bulk-billed for Medicare cardholders within the Blue Mountains LGA; otherwise charged as a standard antenatal visit.
in-home antenatal visits
Individual appointments include a combination of clinical care and holistic support. Clinical care may involve blood pressure checks, abdominal palpation, fetal heart monitoring with a Doppler, and referrals for tests or imaging as needed. Equally important, we’ll explore your emotional well-being, birth preferences, and any questions you have. You can also receive bodywork during these visits if you wish. These visits are about nurturing both you and your baby.
Antenatal visits are flexible; they can be attended as a one-off consultation or case review (second opinion), as part of a shared-care arrangement with another care provider (i.e. public hospital) or for the duration of your pregnancy care.
Prices start from $148.00. Medicare rebates are available. See fee schedule for more information.
